Your web design questions answered:

  • It depends on the size of the site, so here's the honest range: a deluxe single-page site starts from $1950, a three-page essentialist site from $2,450, and ecommerce is custom-priced to what you're selling. Every build is scoped to what you actually need tell me about your project and I'll give you a real number.

  • I build on Squarespace, Rocketspark and Shopify chosen because they're genuinely easy for you to manage once I hand them over. I can also refresh or work on existing Wix and Showit sites. If you’re unsure on the best option of you I’ll point you to the right platform for your business.

  • Not essential, but it helps enormously. A website is only as strong as the identity behind it, so if your brand's still fuzzy, the site has nothing solid to stand on. If you're doing both, I offer a discount as the strategy work crosses over, so it makes sense to build them together.

  • Usually around three weeks or more, depending on the size and complexity of the site. It's a considered process with clear steps you'll know where things are at and what's next.

  • Yes and it's one of my favourite things to set up. Every build can include training so you leave confident running your own site, no being held hostage. And if you'd rather not touch it? I'm happy to look after it for you. Your call, either way.

  • Absolutely. Queenstown's home, but I build for clients right across New Zealand and beyond, the whole process runs smoothly from anywhere.
